LiftRocket is a crowdfunding site where people can get low-interest loans from their community. It aims to help people get through crises without crippling debt.
I joined LiftRocket early in its development and helped build the MVP for seed funding.
- Bootstrapped this crowdfunding app by building the entire frontend in React from a spec sheet
- Handled payment processing and the surrounding flows
- Added features to the python API where the frontend needed something the backend did not yet expose
It was my first real taste of taking a product from sketches to something investors would put money behind.
